In 2005, Ms. Johnston graduated from Bloomfield College with an undergraduate degree in Sociology. 
Backed by solid credentials Janel is skilled in building community support, key coalitions and strategic interagency partnerships.

In 2009, she earned a certification in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from Bergen Community College Continued Education Division accompanied by respective HUD Assisted Housing Manager and Occupancy Specialist Certifications.
